A Response to Hurricane Harvey

Mercy House Global is located about 40 miles from downtown Houston. Our red barn that houses one of our retail stores, thousands of dollars in Fair Trade Friday product and hundreds of volunteers a month, escaped storm and flooding damage. The other retail store had to be emptied due to rising water and it will reopen soon.

We are so grateful and that gratitude is a driving force to do something to help in our city. Many of our volunteers, donors and community have suffered devastating losses. After distributing water, diapers and much needed supplies to evacuees from our barn, we are now collecting gift cards to be distributed to displaced Texans.
